Amazonite is a gemstone known to be a relaxing, refreshing and loving stone. It helps release ties and blockages, and promotes emotional balance and self-confidence. It is usually helpful in situations of change or grief.
These stones are very poorly polished and are irregularly cut with the aim of reflecting more accurately the irregular nature of their faces and vertices. Each crystal is unique, and being cut in such a natural way you can see veins, flaws or even bumps that are part of the stone. At Malababa we look for this irregularity as it makes each piece unique. Due to how natural and poorly polished these minerals are, each size and shape is slightly different, but all of them measure around 14-17mm long and 6-10mm wide.
Our entire line of jewelry is developed in Madrid and is manufactured by hand piece by piece by our artisan jewelers.
Our jewelry lines are made with recycled silver and gold, coming from recycled pieces. This way, we avoid using metals that perpetuate the exploitation of mines and we promote the upcycling of these pieces, giving them a second life.
