it transmits. A careful selection of mauves,
yellows, greens, blues and reds that irradiate
optimism, energy and light.
More necessary than ever.

Painter Helen Frankenthaler was able
to use these in abstract irregular silhouettes,
and these have been a great source
of inspiration for the collection.

These colour combinations transfer us
directly to the liberated women
of California. Independent and conscious
of their feminity and strength, they started
having an awareness of their rights and
demanded them without fear.

Also in California, we find inspiration in their
vast flower fields in Carlsbad, reaching
their peak splendour each year in
the beginning of March. A visual,
good-vibes show that encourages us
to be more connected with earth and simplify
things.

With materials like rock, wood and soil,
architecture back then respectfully integrated
nature in its shapes and surrounded itself with it.
J Lautner in that sense has been our
maximum inspiration.
